Initially perceived as a tragic suicide, the investigation revealed a disturbing twist. Authorities uncovered text messages from his girlfriend, Michelle Carter, who repeatedly encouraged him to take his own life. When Conrad hesitated and stepped out of his truck, Michelle urged, "Get back in." Tragically, he complied. This unprecedented case led to Michelle's conviction for involuntary manslaughter, solely based on her text messages.
