Video - The Mysterious Vanishing of The Springfield Three
The Springfield Three Duration: 45-60 seconds June 7, 1992: Graduation night in Springfield, Missouri. Suzanne Streeter and Stacy McCall returned to Suzanne's mother's house after parties. The next morning, all three women—Suzanne, Stacy, and Sherrill Levitt, Suzanne's mother—had vanished. Their purses and keys were left behind. The glass lampshade by the front door was shattered. The beds appeared slept in, and their cars remained in the driveway. Three women disappeared without a struggle, without a sound, and were never seen again. Despite thousands of leads and national attention, no bodies were ever found. Some theories suggest they were targeted by someone posing as law enforcement. In 2007, investigators received a tip that the women were buried under a hospital parking garage, but ground-penetrating radar results were inconclusive. The case remains open.
