Ollie Owl loved reading more than anything in the world. Every night, he sat high in his cozy treehouse and read magical stories under the moonlight. But one windy evening, Ollie opened his wings in shock. “My favorite book is gone!” he cried. The wind had blown the little book right out of his treehouse window. Ollie searched everywhere. He looked near the river, under the flowers, and even inside old tree stumps, but the book was nowhere to be found. Soon, all of Ollie’s friends joined the search. Benny Bunny hopped through the grass, Ricky Raccoon checked behind rocks, and Toby Turtle slowly searched near the pond. Finally, they heard a tiny voice near the forest edge. A little hedgehog sat alone, holding Ollie’s book carefully in his paws. “I found it,” the hedgehog whispered shyly. “The stories made me feel less lonely.” Ollie smiled warmly and sat beside him. That night, all the animals gathered together while Ollie read stories under the stars. And Ollie learned that stories are even more magical when shared with friends.
