Kiki, the brave baby chimpanzee, swung through the trees, her heart racing. A crackling roar echoed through the jungle, and black smoke curled into the sky. Panic surged as Kiki spotted a small koala trapped in a eucalyptus tree, flames licking at its furry legs. “Hold on!” she squeaked, leaping closer. With nimble hands, she tied a vine around the koala’s body and carefully lowered it down. The fire roared, but Kiki dashed to the river, pulling the koala with her. They splashed into the cool water just as flames surged overhead, safe at last. “Thank you!” the koala whispered, trembling.
