Amidst the swirling mist of the ancient forest, Kira sprinted, heart pounding. She clutched the silver locket, its intricate design glowing faintly. Behind her, the eerie howls of the shadow wolves echoed, their eyes glowing like embers in the gloom. "Keep moving," urged the voice in her mind, a whisper from the locket itself. Kira's breath caught as the path forked, one side leading into deeper shadows. Trusting her instincts, she veered left, the wolves' howls fading.
